An Introduction to the Government's new Customer Service Excellence standard which was launched on 10 March 2008.  Customer Service Excellence outlines requirements on the key drivers of customer satisfaction, namely delivery, timelyness, staff, professionalism and attitude, and information and access.

 

This webinar will begin to explore the main requirements of the new standard and looks at how customer insight and segmentation is used to drive new service delivery and developments.

The Eco-design Directive for Energy-using Products (EuP) 2005/32/EC has been developed to reduce the environmental impact of household electrical and electronic goods, with a focus on energy consumption in the use phase, but covering all environmental aspects in the product life cycle where they are found to be significant. The directive was issued in 2005 and has been effective in 11 member states since August 2007. The directive itself is just the framework and is being enforced through the phased introduction of implementing measures which are assigned to specific product categories (currently around 30 have been identified based on high sales volumes and environmental impact). The implementing measures set ecodesign requirements for the products they cover. Manufacturers and importers whose products fall into scope of the implementing measures are required to demonstrate compliance before their products are placed on the market in the EU, once the relevant implementing measure is in force.

Ainsi, fabricants et importateurs dont les produits sont concernés par les mesures d'exécution définies par la Directive se doivent d'être conformes aux exigences fixées afin de prétendre à une mise sur le marché.

SGS has been working on the development of this product since Sep 2008. Unlike TAPA, ISO 28000 is not limited to high-tech E&E warehouses and forwarders. Unlike C-TPAT, ISO 28000 is not limited to US customers. You may find this product particularly attractive even if you are TAPA / C-TPAT certified.

In a classical set-up of an early clinical development program, studies are performed in a sequential order: Single Ascending Dose (SAD) followed by Multiple Ascending Dose (MAD) and Proof of Concept (POC). Every trial is considered a stand-alone trial, and the design of each subsequent trial is adapted to the results of the previous one. By combining these trials in a single combined protocol, it is possible to achieve a substantial gain in total time and hence make a go/no-go decision much earlier.

 

This presentation will focus on the advantages and difficulties of these combined protocols, and present some examples.
