CEBEC is participating in various mutual recognition arrangements among European Organizations in the
voluntary sector.

European agreements
A. CENELEC Certification Agreement (CCA)
The CCA facilitates and expedites the granting of a licence for a mark
of conformity of a participating national certification body, with a minimum
of administration overhead, for equipment complying with the relevant safety
standard(s)., which has already received a licence from another participating
certification body.
It covers low voltage equipment mainly household appliances and components,
electronic appliances, luminaires and accessories and electrical installation
material.
B. ENEC
ENEC is the common European mark granted to certain electrical equipment
complying with the European standards defined in the agreement.
It covers luminaires and associated components, transformers, power
supply units, switches for appliances, IT equipment, automatic electrical
controls and, more recently, connecting devices, suppression capacitors
and filters.
C. KEYMARK
The Keymark is the common CEN/CENELEC European Mark, granted to the
household and similar electrical appliances, complying with the relevant
European standards, on the basis of third-party certification.
D. HAR
The HAR Agreement is aimed at granting a common mark of conformity with
applicable ENs/HDs, which is unconditionally recognized by all participating
approval organizations as equivalent to their national mark.
It covers low voltage cables and cords.
E. LOVAG
LOVAG certificates of conformity are granted to low voltage industrial
and similar equipment, which fulfils with the requirements of the relevant
standards (ENs, HDs or IEC standards), figuring on LOVAG list.
F. EMEDCA
EMEDCA is an agreement, covering active medical devices, set up to exchange
mutually test results based on harmonized European standards or other commonly
accepted normative documents, as the basis for issuing a licence for a
mark of conformity of one of the participating certification bodies.
